Nagoya to Kawaguchiko Lake

Hello, I am travelling from Nagoya Station to Kawaguchiko lake on 15 May 2024.
Based on my online check, it seems that I have to take the Shinkansen from Nagoya to Mishima and transfer to a express bus (2500Yen) to Kawaguchiko Station.

As I will be carrying two big sized luggage, may I know if the express bus is able to accommodate?
Otherwise, what would be my next best alternative?

For my travel period, is it necessary to reserve ticket in advance? Thank you!

@LikeBike I am arriving Japan on 14 May 2024, is there enough time for courier transfer to Kawaguchiko by 15 May 2024 morning in this case?
If it is unable to deliver in time, does courier help to hold/schedule the luggage to deliver to my next Tokyo hotel in Ueno say 3 days later?

There is likely not enough time to deliver to Kawaguchiko but delivering the filling day (or a few days later) to your hotel in Tokyo will be totally possible

@LikeBike: Thanks for the info. Also, would you recommend taking the highway bus back from Kawaguchiko Lake to Tokyo (Shinjuku) between 11am-1pm, or is there a better time range to avoid traffic jam?
