Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima in 7 days 6 nights 2015/3/17 12:51
Hi All,

I will be travelling to Japan for the first time this coming June. I have planned an itinerary based on Kyoto and Osaka but I would like to squeeze Hiroshima in mainly because of Peace Park and to watch Sanfrecce Hiroshima (football team) play at Hiroshima Big Arch Stadium.

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out the best way to work this one out and any opinions would be appreciated.

This is my tentative plan for now.

Monday:

- Arrive Osaka (Itami) Airport at 9:10am
- Travel to Kyoto and accommodation check-in
- Explore Kyoto

Tuesday:

- Explore Kyoto

Wednesday:

- Explore Kyoto

Thursday:

- Check-out from Kyoto and leave for Osaka for accommodation check-in
- Explore Osaka

Friday:

- USJ Day Trip
- Overnight bus to Hiroshima

Saturday:

- Arrive Hiroshima
- Visit Peace Park
- Attend Sanfrecce Hiroshima game
- Shinsanken back to Osaka

Is the above itinerary feasible? Would it be better for me to take the shinkansen to Hiroshima instead of the overnight Willer bus?

Based on the above itinerary, what passes should I get?

Many thanks for your help.

Probably single tickets on the train will be more efficient (depends a little on your budget), but yes, it looks quite doable.
