Kumano buses & JR West Pass - Kansai Wide

Hi there. Can I find out if the JR West Pass - Kansai WIDE cover the bus services along the Kumano Kodo trail.

I understand the W(akayama)-Pass is terminated since 2014. What is its replacement?

In general, a JR Pass covers only JR Trains and busses, and the Miyajima Ferry, but that's about it. There are some exceptions, but none of the private bus line in the Kumano region are covered.

As far as I know, there has not been a replacement for the W-Pass, which was a great value. I have used this pass twice in the past. I have heard that there is a multi day pass by the Kotsu bus line, but I don't know much about it other than it existed last year.
