Wild cherry trees on Tenkawa Mountain real? 2015/4/2 11:35
I've seen many photos of beautiful wild cherry tree (sakura) line up on the top of a montain called Tenkawa (or Namego Vallery or Gyojagaeridake) but could not google any single information about it. I wonder if it is real. Anyone knows where and how to get there? Sorry cannot post a photo of it but you can google "Tenkawa Mountain" and there it is.

Thank You very much

Found it! http://goo.gl/maps/EL9kW
But no public local bus after Tenkawa village central area (around village office)
so should take a taxi or car rent from Shimoichiguchi stn or before larger stn.

Public bus(Nara kotsu) operated from Shimoichiguchi stn[下市口] of Kintetsu Railway
get off Tenkawa-kawai[天川川合] bus stop. (1110Y/oneqay : about 60min)

Green house is visitor center. http://goo.gl/maps/9MV9R

If take a taxi will be over 12000Y/oneway maybe from Shimoichiguchi stn to view spot.
(from Shimoichiguchi stn to Tenkawa-kawai : around 8000Y/oneway)
(from Tenkawa-kawai to view spot about 20km/35min far by car)
Try hitchhiking?

If by own drive as car rent driving carefully especially R309 around view spot car road not wide.

And Maybe he will upload blooming report again this year, too.
