Advice for itinerary - Kyoto, Takayama

Hi, I am planning a 9 days trips in Kyoto/Osaka/Takayama/Shirakawa-go in November with my husband and 11 olds daughter on the following itineraries:
Original plan:
14/11/2015 Arrive Kansai airport @ 22:25. Overnight in airport to save cost.
15/11 Kansai~Kyoto~Nara Park
16/11 Kyoto~Fushimi Inari Shrine, Tofukuji temple
17/11 Kyoto~Takao
18/11 Kyoto~ Koyasan~overnight in temple lodge
19/11 Koyasan to Takayama~explore Takayama
20/11 Takayama~Shirakawa-go~Takayama
21/11 Takayama to Osaka
22/11 Osaka~Universal Studio
23/11 Osaka~Depart to Kansai airport. Flight @ 23:35
I have booked all the hotels for the above itinerary but considering that it's too much hassle and time consuming to travel from Koyasan to Takayama (6 transfers in 6 hours), I have come out with plan 2:
Plan 2:
14/11 Kansai airport
15/11 Kansai~Osaka~Universal Studio
16/11 Osaka~Koyasan
17/11 Koyasan~Osaka
18/11 Osaka~Takayama
19/11 Takayama~Shirakawa-go~Takayama
20/11 Takayama~Kyoto~Nara Park
21/11 Kyoto~ Takao
22/11 Kyoto
23/11 Kyoto~Kansai airport
Plan 2 would cut down the traveling time and No. of transfer but it's bit hard to find a cheaper rate hotel in Kyoto during weekend.
So all the experts out there, which plan is more workable and any suggestions to reshuffle the plan?
Is there any luggage forwarding service from Kyoto/Osaka to Takayama?
And is there any chance to see snowfall in Shirakawa-go since it's only November?

Almost same. Not bad, but there seems to be a room for improvement.
My suggestions are
1. It is more convenient to go to Nara from Osaka than from Kyoto.
2. It is much more convenient to go to Koyasan from Osaka than from Kyoto.
3. It would be better to go sightseeing in the morning and then travel in the afternoon.

Yes. Takuhaibin( or Takkyubin) is very convenient.
)And is there any chance to see snowfall in Shirakawa-go since it's only November?
November is too early to see snow in Shirakawago. It may be possible in Nishihotaka Ropeway, 90 min bus ride from Takayama.
