From Nagoya to Osaka 2015/4/4 14:46
Hi!

I've been very impressed with all the help.
However, I still have question in mind.

Our point of entry is Nagoya Chubu Centair in 9:00 pm, and we will be availing JR pass for seven days, also, we plan to visit Osaka next day. Question: From the airport of nagoya, where and how can we go to the nearest accommodations that is near JR pass train station? we wanted to make an easy day going to osaka the next day. Any suggestions on place to find cheap hotels? Can you give us the exact direction, bus/train to take and everything.

I know this is too much but I appreciate your big help.

Thanks!

Nagoya Station is surrounded by hotels, but the closer they are to the station, the more expensive they tend to be:

Refer to Uji's link above - it gives a good overview of your options for transferring from Centrair to Nagoya Station. At JR Nagoya Station, you will be able to exchange your JR Pass voucher for the actual pass, reserve your seats, and board the shinkansen to Shin-Ōsaka Station. (Note that the airport train is not covered by the JR Pass, and in any case you won't be able to exchange the voucher at Centrair so the pass won't be usable at that stage anyway.)

As for accommodations, I once stayed at the following hotel (inexpensive and with free breakfast) - it's within walking distance of the shinkansen area of Nagoya Station:

You'll see from the map in the first part of the post below how close the hotel is to Nagoya Station (but a little walking is still needed):

Cheers.
