Itinerary in Japan 2015/6/1 03:15
I'll be in Japan 15 nights in July. My plan is 7 nights in Tokyo, 5 in Kyoto, 1 in Mijayima,, 2 in Osaka.

From Tokyo I plan to do Nikko, Kamakura and Hakone in one day trips. from Kyoto I'll do Nara, Himeji and Kobe.

My doubts are:
Should I stay one night in Nikko instead of one day trip?
Is it Hakone worthwhile? should I plan one night less in tokyo, and have one night in Takayama before going Kyoto?

Any other comment/ suggestion is more than welcome

Regards

Yes, yes, and yes.

One caveat though is that Hakone's ropeway is closed down, as is going to Owakudani. You might consider going to the Fuji 5 Lakes area instead...
Look into the relevant day passes for each:

Remember, you could spend a lot of time in Tokyo and still not see everything.
In Tokyo a few of the best places to see are the Tsukiji Fish Market

plus the site that every last tourist goes to see, the Sensoji Temple

If you are in Tokyo on a Sunday afternoon, be sure to go visit Harajuku

to see the youth with their wild fashions. Meiji Shrine and Yoyogi Park are next to it and well worth seeing also. And be sure not to miss the Shibuya Hachiko

intersection especially on a weekend when it looks like half the city is crossing the street at once.
