Kanto Area Pass

Hi,

I am travelling to Tokyo on July 20th and i have booked a hotel in Ueno.

I have planned to purchase Kanto area pass, i would like to know is there any way that i can use the shinkansen bullet train with this pass to travel outside Tokyo and i would prefer to go a scenic place where i get to travel on a rope way at the same time.

Please let me know the places in can go?

For ropeways, not too many, but there is one in Izu for Mt. Omuro, for example.
