Best pass for Kyoto city and Miyama?

I'm planning a 3-day trip to Kyoto, with a day trip to Miyama. I'll be taking a JR train from Kyoto to Sonobe, then take the Miyama excursion bus http://www.keihankyotokotsu.jp/info/sonobemiyama/english.html.

May I know if there's a pass that covers Kyoto subway, Kyoto buses, JR to Sonobe, and the Miyama excursion bus?

Is Surutto Kansai Miyako Card the right card to get then? Does it cover the Miyama Excursion bus? I'm assuming it covers all my transport needs except JR train?

It also does not cover JR Trains heading to Miyama. But you can take non-jr trains between Osaka and Kyoto. It makes some sense to get it. But you have to check your plans. Is your travelling extensive enough to cover the costs and time of getting this pass. JR Shinkansens are really convenient.

The only JR train I'm taking is from Sonobe to Miyama, so I guess I'll just pay cash. Just to confirm, does the Surutto Kansai Miyako Card cover the Miyama Excursion bus? If so, this will be the card I'll buy. Thanks very much!

is not a pass. It is a kind of a prepaid IC card, like Icoca. So if you can use this card on the Miyama excursion bus, there is no economical merit (no discount). Further, as far as I know, the Miyama excursion bus is out of their service area.

I don't think any of the passes cover the Miyama Excursion Bus as it is considered a tour bus rather than a regularly scheduled line.
