Coin locker size and location map? 2015/7/12 00:36
Hi,
What are the measurements of coin lockers at train stations in Japan? Do they have a standardized size or could it vary between JR companies like JR East, JR West, JR Hokkaido, etc?

Is there any map or info where I can find out which stations have small, medium, big sized lockers and how many?

I do not look for a location map where in the station there are lockers, that I can find out on location...

Are there any stations with lockers or lugguage service storage for several days?

It varies slightly. The following page gives a general idea:

This covers some areas of Japan:

Also, most railway companies have information about most or all of their stations and services offered. Usually in Japanese only except for the most major stations.

I believe that all coin lockers in Japanese stations can be used for up to two overnight durations, i.e. up to three calendar days.

Delivery services can be ordered to delay deliveries by up to one week, effectively doubling as a luggage storage service:

Informative answer, thank you very much.

As for delivery service, not sure if it would work out as I want to leave and pick the luggage up at the same place. I believe it must be sent to an adress or hotel.
