Nemuro, Hokkaido - Food/hotel

I want to eat fresh seafood. Read somewhere a Nemuro has the freshest seafood. I want to stay overnight but it looks like they don't have a good business type hotel. Toyoko inn needs to open here. Any nonsmoking hotel suggestion please?

I stayed at the Kushiro Toyoko Inn and took a day trip using the train out to Nemuro and a bus to Cape Nosappu. There wasn't all that much in Nemuro City that I found. The cape had all the Northern Territories displays and a lot of varieties of konbu as well as some souvenir shops and restaurants.

Thanks for the reply. Is the Hamamatsu restaurant really better in Nemuro than Sapporo?
I have been to Kushiro too. Pretty small city.desolate.nemuro might be worse.
