Is it worth buying a JR pass 2015/8/5 01:37
Hi, I would want to know if my itinerary worth buying a 7 days JR pass?
Is't better to travel from Osaka to Tokyo or vice versa?

Day 1- reaching in Osaka
Day 2- Kyoto
Day 3- Kyoto
Day 4- Fuji (hakone/kawaguchiko)
Day 5- Tokyo
Day 6- Disneysea
Day 7- Gala Yuzawa ski
Day 8- Tokyo
Day 9- Tokyo, 11.35pm flight at Haneda airport

Thank you

Nope, not worth it for a one way journey.

It is just that as you are mainly heading one direction, and only have one long-distance train journey, the rail pass is more expensive as it implicitly assumes you are going to do a lot of travelling.

For schedule like yours, there isn't a particular need to get a pass as you have one main train transfer, and lots of local travel around Kyoto/Osaka and then in Tokyo.

okay I got it.

I'm travelling during winter. Kawaguchiko and Hakone which one will get the best view of mt fuji? Any activity can do at there?

I plan to take an overnight bus from kyoto to fuji and then maybe shinkansen from fuji to tokyo. Any advise?

Given the limited time you have, it is not feasible to see both Hakone and the Fuji 5 Lakes area. Concentrate on Hakone, which is much easier to reach from the Kansai area. Getting a Hakone Free Pass can also save you a lot of money.
