Tokyo Bay Aqua Line

Can anyone tell me what there is to do at the island half way across Tokyo Bay.

We are travelling to Japan for our third visit and looking for something unusual to do.

We want to drive under Tokyo Bay and to the temple where the guys in the BBC Top Gear programme drove to.

We understand you can rent cars from Toyoko Inn hotels.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't seen the episode but it seems they visited Nihonji Temple on Mt. Nokogiriyama. Since you'll have a car you may want to drive through the coastal villages along the pacific coast of the boso peninsula.
