Need to clear some Shinkansen confusion :
checking thru hyperdia, seem that every route will need to use the Nozomi after Nagoya. Does that mean we can't utilize the JR pass?

The Hikari trains run every 30 minutes from Nagoya to Tokyo. The Nozomi trains run very frequently, so sometimes you only see Nozomi trains on hyperdia. Click on the book and clock icon in the Timetable column on hyperdia to see the timetable.

There's a box on Hyperdia at the bottom you can click on to remove Nozomi results from the search.
