Will there be any flowering plants in Japan in January? Right now in Melbourne (exact equivalent of January in Japan, and roughly the same latitude as Tokyo) we have camellias in profusion.....if so, what, and where, would we see any?

Camellias also bloom right through the winter in Tokyo.

Thank you to both posters: looks like a visit to Koishikawa Korakuen will be on the "to do" list, and we can expect camellias around and about definitely: very happy!
