The fastest way depend on where in Osaka you are departing from. If you are around Shin-Osaka Station, taking the shinkansen will be the fastest way, as the trailhead to the waterfall is directly behind Shin-Osaka Station. If you prefer to travel by cheaper regular trains, take them to Sannomiya Station, followed by a subway ride to Shin-Kobe Station. The waterfall and the hiking trail through the valley are the only attractions. You could theoretically continue hiking to the Nunobiki herb garden which has nice views over Kobe: http://www.city.kobe.lg.jp/information/public/online/photo/number13/en...

B T W there is another wellknown water fall on northerrn part of Osaka Prefecture. It is called Minoo no Taki.
Minoo station of Hankyu railway is the closest station.
As the photos are the masterpiece of somebody, I m afraid that Nunobiki no Taki is far different from your expectation.

Mino Park and its size are explained here: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e4019.htmlBasically, Mino Park is bigger, and the valley is wider and not as steep. Mino Park has a few attractions besides the falls, such as a temple. But apart from that they are rather similar.

I think it is rather unlikely.

I guess the restaurants serve TEMPURA of MOMIJI 12 months a year. I mean, they hmust have preserved MOMIJI.

I see. I assumed they were sold temporarily during the autumn season only.
