New Years in Tokyo 2011/12/13 22:05
I will be spending New Years in Tokyo, it will be my first new years in Tokyo but I have visited the area before. I am looking to find something fun to do. I understand that Japan doesnt celebrate NYE like the westerns do but Im still hoping to find something fun like watch fireworks and visit a shrine/temple like most people do over there. Is there somewhere I can do both? I really enjoy fireworks especially on NYE. Im not really interested in any bars or clubs of the sort. Just looking to have a good time.

I found a countdown event in zojo-ji temple under the Tokyo-Tower.
But no fireworks...

Probably it will be insufferable crowded.

The outside of Tokyo,
Tokyo Disney Resort

Fireworks are a summer thing in Japan.

I'd say a fun thing with possibility of fireworks would be Tokyo Disney or Disney Sea (although I'm not sure about the fireworks)
