One day trip out of Tokyo 2011/12/14 16:44
On 27 Dec 2011, we are planning to have a day trip out of Tokyo and we are planning to go to Nikko.

As there are many good places recommended from the web, please advise the following places whether we can make it within a day trip, using either bus or train.

We have in mind is Shinkyo Bridge, Rinnoji, Kegon Falls and Toshugu.

If you start early and travel at a medium to fast pace, you can visit everything within a day. The following page explains how to travel to Nikko:

I would recommend Kanmagafuji Abyss as well. Beautiful natural environment around here. When I was there last winter the river was frozen!
