Holiday in Japan 2011/12/15 00:43
Hi there!I will be travelling to Osaka on March 2012 and i will stay 10 days in Japan.Seriously, i have been reading the forum and the site to plan for my holiday but i'm so helpless.
I wish to travel from Osaka to Tokyo.Ofcourse, i wish to stop by the nice cities in between eg Kyoto, Nogoya, Mt Fuiji, etc.
Can anyone be kind and advise me on the detail of my holiday eg Transport, Hotel, Sites, Activity?
I personally prefer the hot spring, sight seeing and city tour. THank you very much in advance!

From Nagoya, you can get to the Fuji Five Lake region at the base of Mount Fuji by taking a shinkansen and bus via Shin-Fuji or Mishima Station. Or there is also an infrequent direct bus.

What to see around the Fuji Five Lakes (it is also a good place to try out an onsen):

Instead of the Fuji Five Lake region, you could also consider a visit to Hakone, but the probability to see Mount Fuji is lower. Hakone is also good to try out an onsen:

Thank you very much. In that case, should i buy the JR 7 days pass to travel for those cities?
Or single ticket will be better for me?

It depends on which airport you use to leave Japan. A round trip between Tokyo and Osaka within 7 days comes cheaper by a 7-day Japan Rail Pass than by regular shinkansen tickets.
