Tokyo Museums Over Christmas?

I was hoping to go to the Yumeji Takehisa Museum in Tokyo (attached to the Yayoi Museum, maybe it's actually called the Yayoi Yumeji Museum) but it says that it closes after holidays. Isn't that Friday (Dec. 23) a holiday? Does that mean it will be closed on Saturday?

I looked up the official website and does not state anything like that: http://www.yayoi-yumeji-museum.jp/visit/guide.htmlIt states that the museum is closed on Mondays or the following day if Monday is a national holiday. There is no indication that the museum should be closed on December 23, 24 or 25. But it will be closed for New Year holidays from December 26 through January 2.
