Travel - Osaka to Kyoto

I am flying into Osaka, Kansai airport on the 1st Feb morning. What is the best and fasteat way to travel from Kansai airport to Kyoto that morning? Thanks

Are they any event I should look out for during my 10 days stay in Osaka and Kyoto from Feb 1st to Feb 10th? Thanks again.

There are numerous options explained here:-

I would recommend purchasing a JR West One Day Pass (preferably in your home country) and using it to ride the JR Haruka train from Kansai Airport to Kyoto Station. The cost of the JR West One Day Pass is 2000 yen.

There are cheaper options that take longer and require changes if you prefer.

Hopefully someone else can help you with the special events.
