Kawaguchi-ko and Hakone 2012/1/25 17:14
Hi,

I just wonder if I could finish trip both to Hakone and Kawaguchi-ko on the same day. I've seen itinerary from travel agents that they could experience both on the same day.

I also read from previous forums that both trip could be done with a guided bus tour. How could I join the bus tour? Is it via booking in advance or on the spot? and how much is the cost? Is it English speaker?

thanks

If you travel by yourself by public transportation, it is not recommended to visit Hakone and Kawaguchiko in a single day, as you will be spending most of your day waiting for and riding buses and trains, and almost no time for sightseeing.

But if you join the bus tour, transportation will be more efficient, making it possible to cover both places in a single day. YOu can sign up here:

It is a tour in English specifically for foreign tourists.
