Which rail pass for 7 day stay in Osaka&Kyoto

Hi, we will be travelling to Osaka and Kyoto for 7 days to catch the cherry blossom festival. Which rail pass should we buy. We will arrive and depart from Kansai airport.Ideally to use on subways and buses as well.

Rail passes are way too expensive for your needs. I would just pay as you go.

Without knowing were you will be going and where you are staying, it is imposible to say what passes would be useful. If you are going from the airport to Kyoto, then a one day JR West Kansai Area Pass would be worth getting:

A one day bus pass could be of value in Kyoto and a one day subway pass might also be useful in Osaka. Travel between the two cities can be done with single ticketing.

Tks for the responses. I will be flying in from Kansai airport then staying in Osaka for 4 days before going to Kyoto for 3 days and from them back to Kansai airport for home. Rgds
