Osaka transport 2012/2/25 15:14
I have read though the japan-guide regarding the railway, train & subway.
But i still don't know what type of pass i should buy. I will be reaching osaka in 26 mar and leaving 1 apr. If not wrong i will be staying in osaka only or maybe 2 night in kyoto. Can you tell me what type of travel pass i should buy. Is there any pass that i can use for all the travel while i am in osaka.

I recommend prepaid cards such as Icoca or the Surutto Kansai Card. Possibly a day pass or the Osaka Unlimited Pass for a busy day in Osaka.

I was looking though the JR-WEST RAIL PASS. If i buy a 1 day pass. Can i buy another 1 the next day. Or i can only buy 1 thoughtout my trip in japan. Than from the jr site. The map provided is very hard to see how many stop it is from the aiport to shin-osaka station. Do u have any map that is more simple which i can know how many stop it is.

You can buy multiple exchange orders outside Japan, but only one pass in Japan.

As noted, JR west pass doesn't pay off unless you ride Haruka Airport Express from KIX to Kyoto or make a daytrip to Himeji from Osaka.
