i will be taking overnight bus to kawaguchiko @ 11.20pm. i would like to know is there any place i can visit in the evening ?
any public bus or hourly hotel near kyoto town ?

A late, slow dinner in Pontocho (or elsewhere) can easily keep you busy and sheltered until around 22:00. I realize that slow dinners might not be an option for some single travelers.

During some seasons (especially cherry blossom and autumn colors), some temples have special evening opening hours with light up events.
