Are there any lockers at Kawaguchiko station? 2012/3/23 13:36
I would like to leave my stuffs and take retro bus before going to the hotel. So it would be better if i could rent some lockers at the station.
And it would be appreciated if anyone could tell me about the open bath or onsen near there.
Thank for helping.

Are you staying overnight in Kawaguchi-ko!? If you are you can leave your bags in the hotel even if you arrive before the official check-in time, thus saving a few hundred yen for the lockers.

FYI, the following is the station map of Kawaguchi-ko showing location of coin lockers on the right of the station.

To store luggage other than the coin lockers. Turn to the right after you pass the ticket gate. You will see the counters that sell the bus ticket (you can buy the retro-bus ticket there). Don't go to the bus counter but go to the end where a door and a counter window with a sign on it. Knock on the windows and someone will answer and you can store your stuff there. It costs 300 yen.

Also, if you walk out of the Kawaguchiko station, the shop opposite the train station has a big sign in Japanese saying something about free luggage storage. Haven't tried it myself so I have no idea if it is really free or not.
