Yes. The details are explained here:
http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2358_008.html

if i want to take the Romance Car, how much is it?

An additional 870 yen one way.

should i just buy the Romance Car ticket and then buy the Hakone Pass inside the free area at 3000 yen?

No, that only makes sense if you do not plan to return to Tokyo.

where can i find the train schedule for the Romance Car and the other train to Hakone?

Here:
http://www.odakyu.jp/english/
http://www.hyperdia.com/

Where can i buy this ticket?

At vending machines or manned ticket windows at Odakyu Shinjuku Station.

need to buy in advance?

No.

But the seats on Romance Car trains are all reserved. On some busy days they might book out in advance. They never sell out during regular weekdays, in which case you can buy the Romance Car seat reservation just before departure, too.

The Romance Car is an Odakyu train! Odakyu is the company name. Romance Car is the nickname for the fastest train category along the Odakyu Main Line. There are other rain categories along that line, e.g. express trains and local trains, which do not require a supplement or seat reservation.

Pl advise on their duration for the journey.

It is explained here:
http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e5206.html

And specifics can be looked up here:
http://www.hyperdia.com/

is there a limit to the number of passengers per cabin in the Odakyu train?

Seat reservations are required on Romance Car trains. If they book out, you won't be able to ride the train. All other Odakyu trains do not have reserved seats and there is no limit on number of passengers.

Will everyone has a seat?

On Romance Car trains: yes
On other trains: not necessarily

is it true that Romancecar runs only on weekends?

No, please read the pages that I have linked in my last post in more detail, especially the following one:
http://www.odakyu.jp/english/

pl advise to the best activities to take once we arrive prob by 11am and leaving the next day at around 3pm? We want to cover all the sights if possible.

I recommend to pick activities based on personal interest:
