In May 2012 we are planning to visit Niigata and would like to visit sake brewery in Niigata area. Can anyone suggest couple places that would allow tour of the factory and sake sampling experience.

Not a factory but inside Echigo-Yuzawa rail station is the sake museum Ponshu-kan where you can sample various sake. They even have a sake onsen.
