Haru Basho 2026 - Day 8
Kaito won again on day 8 to stay perfect. He is one ahead of the only close pursuer, Andrasoyama.
Rikio is also perfect and the sole leader of Juryo. And it's exactly the same in Makushita. Yonisan is 8-0 there. A group of six are waiting for a slip.
Sekiwake Oskahanada's Ozeki run has run into trouble in the form of a three-day losing streak. He will need to win out now for the promotion nod.

Haru Basho 2026 - Day 5
The Makuuchi lead as of day 5 is held by Sekiwake Oskahanada and Kaito. The Sekiwake's Ozeki run is still on and he needs seven more wins in the remaining ten days. A group of six is one win behind that includes Yokozuna Pandaazuma.
Rikioi has emerged as the sole leader of Juryo and is still unbeaten. Five Makushita hopefuls are also perfect so far.

Haru Basho 2026 - Day 2
Welcome all to the Haru Basho. We have another significant inflow of new players so thanks for participating.
The spring tournament is living up to its reputation for wildness so far and scores are on the low side as a result.
On the banzuke, Sekiwake Oskahanada is on an Ozeki run. He needs 12 wins for the nod and has a 2-0 start. Yokozuna Pandaazuma and Yokozuna Kakushoyamaii are both kadoban and therefore need 8 wins to keep their rank. They are off to 1-1 and 2-0 starts respectively.
Good luck to all the players.
