22 Whitcomb Cherry trees are planted in one row on the west side of Ash Street along Tisdall Park between 45th and 49th Avenue (just south of Oakridge Centre). It is the best place to view the early flowering Whitcomb Cherries in Vancouver that I am aware of. The area (especially 44th to 48th Avenue between Cambie and Ontario Street) is also very attractive for plum tree viewing.

22 Whitcomb Cherry trees along the south side of Ash Street at Tisdall Park. Due to damaged blossoms, the trees do not reach the flowering intensity of last year.

This is one of the best places to view Whitcomb Cherry trees in Vancouver. For about 100 meters, Ash Street is decorated by the early flowering Higanzakura cultivar. Unfortunatelly, many of this year's Whitcomb Cherry blossoms throughout the city seem to have been damaged by the cold weather of February and March which is reducing the intensity of the flowering Whitcomb trees compared to last year.
