2007/08/23 - First Day on the Job
Hey everyone,
My name is Scott and I'm a new staff writer here at japan-guide. I just wanted to introduce myself and my travel journal which I will try my best to keep updated with all my trips, both business and pleasure. It's also the place that I'll publish my editorials and other Japan related thoughts.
Just a little about myself: I'm originally from Northern California, where I attended Cal (GO BEARS!), and I've spent the last three years as a high school English teacher on the JET Programme. I'm really interested in taiko, photography, cooking, and the outdoors, especially snowboarding and hiking, and I hope to use my experiences to contribute some (what I hope to be) great stuff to the site.
