Shinjuku Gyoen
April 6, 2009 - full bloom
This is a follow up to our Tokyo Cherry Blossom Reports on March 31, 2009 and March 26, 2009.
The cherry trees around Shinjuku Gyoen have reached full bloom. They will continue to be at their prime over the next few days, and good weather is forecasted for the rest of the week making for some nice cherry blossom viewing.
Ueno Park
April 6, 2009 - full bloom
This is a follow up to our Tokyo Cherry Blossom Reports on March 31, 2009 and March 26, 2009.
Ueno Park's cherry trees are currently at full bloom. The park will continue to be crowded, as the fine weather and full blossoms should continue through the week.
Sumida Park
April 6, 2009 - full bloom
This is a follow up to our Tokyo Cherry Blossom Report on March 26, 2009.
The parks along the Sumida River were quite crowded today, and there were long lines for boat tours as the cherry blossoms along the river are in full bloom. The blossoms will continue to be at their peak over the next few days, and good weather is predicted to continue through the week.
Chidorigafuchi
April 6, 2009 - full bloom
This is a follow up to our Tokyo Cherry Blossom Reports on April 2, 2009 and March 29, 2009.
The cherry trees lining the moat of Chidorigafuchi are in full bloom. Green leaves are just starting to emerge between the blossoms, however the trees should remain at their peak over the next few days along with continuing good weather.
Yasukuni Shrine
April 6, 2009 - full bloom
This is a follow up to our Tokyo Cherry Blossom Reports on April 2, 2009 and March 29, 2009.
The cherry trees around Yasukuni Shrine are currently at full bloom, and the petals are just starting to begin to fall. The cherry blossoms should continue their peak over the next few days as well as the good weather.
