April 12, 2015 - Short cycle on Shimanami Kaido, exploring Innoshima island.
My last day in Japan began with weather ideal for bike ride.
After early morning arrival at Onomichi station,
I have taken ferry from nearby pier to Mukaishima Island.
Bike rental terminals are dotted along the Shimanami Kaido.
Visitors starting from Onomichi, can rent bike near station or at Mukaishima Island.
After 35 minutes ride from bike rental terminal, I have reached Innoshima Bridge.
Bridge has platform suspended underneath main roadway, that is used for bike and pedestrian traffic.
Road leading up to the bridge is build with small inclines to assist even intermediate cyclists.
Exhibition was spread across buildings adjacent to small lighthouse.
There were many lighthouse mechanism parts.
Fair took place on lawn near Ohama beach.
