Travel to Sado Island from Snow Monkey Park?

Hello,

Can anyone advise if it is still possible to drive from Snow Monkey Park through Joetsu to Niigata? Original plan was to drive E18 > E8 along the coast to the ferry terminal. Will be there in late February. Are the roads still open or is another route advisable?

Why do you think these roads are closed? Snow? Earthquake?
It�fs a pretty big road. Yes, there will be snow but the Ishikawa earthquake was �gfar�h away so no impact on those roads. So not sure why you are asking. Can you enlighten us?
