I need to pick up a bike from Musashisakai Station and take into Idabashi. Does anybody know if I can transport the bicycle on the train back into the city?
Thanks

Jay,
Bikes on trains have to be folded and fully enclosed in a bag.

If I recall, bicycles that cannot be folded require you to remove the wheels and cover it. If you are trying to take a standard mama-cheri bicycle I wouldn't try it. Fork out the yen and have it takkyubin'ed to your home.
I used to ride a foldable bicycle, and the foldable bicycle required me to (fold) the bicycle and cover completely when in transport (I had a special bicycle carry bag).
