Sakamoto Ryoma Statue
Kochi Prefecture is located on the island of Shikoku. Prefectural capital is Kochi City. The prefecture's former name is Tosa. Tosa and its local hero Sakamoto Ryoma played an important historical role towards the end of the Edo period.
