Kansai Wide Area Pass & Hokuriku Pass

I wanna use both pass as it is cheaper than Kansai Hokuriku pass and it offer discount on transportation to Tojimbo, Kurobe Alpen, Shirakawago. But I wonder if I can continue on ThunderBird from Osaka to Fukui or AwaraOnsen without meeding to disembark at Tsuruga and embark again ad it is connecting point of 2 passes. I will buy them before reaching Japan. Thank you.
