About Shibazakura festival

Hi everyone !
I have 1 plan to visit Japan from 22May to 25May, and I want to visit Shibazakura festival (near Lake Motosuko) during my trip.
But on website, in 2015, the festival will be start from April 18.
So I'm wondering whether if i still can see the flower ? I dont know how about last year.

The festival seems to continue until the end of May, as long as the flowers are there I assume. This page shows the blooming situation at the site: http://www.shibazakura.jp/info/If you want to check how the flowers were in late May, go to the right side of the page, where they list the different years, and select, for example, 2014. That's the archive, almost day-by-day, during the festival, so you can select the date and see the photo for each day.
