Is a day trip from tokyo to Togendai via Hakone Toza Railway to Gora, Sounzan cablecar and Hakone ropeway too rushed withiut the Lake Ashi boat cruise?

If you leave early in the morning, it can be easily done with ample of time. But a lot depends on your personally preferred travel pace and the number of places you wish to stop at along the way.

Yes, the Hakone Free Pass will likely come cheaper than regular tickets.
