Hi Good Evening,
Would appreciate some advice whether it is more worth while visiting the Tambara Lavender Park or Akeno Sunflower Park during 22 to 25 Aug 2015.
The access to these two places, which is easier. And if possible the way there? Thanks alot

The Sunflower festival is until August 23rd, while the Lavender Park is until August 30th. The "peak" of the lavender is around mid-August though. If you are able to only go to one place, I think the sunflowers will be a little nicer than the lavender at that point, as long as you can go before the 23rd. After the 23rd, the lavender park is your only option. To get to Tanbara, take the shinkansen or the Takasaki Line to Takasaki Station. Transfer to the JR Joetsu Line to Numata. From Numata there is a bus to the park, but unfortunately it's only until 8/16. You'd need to take a taxi for your dates.
