Onsen recommendations for kanto/kansai

Will be back to Japan this December for 2 weeks. Last year, we stayed mostly in Tokyo except 1 day in Hakone for hot spring.
This year, we plan split the 2 weeks into 4-5 days in Osaka/Kobe/Kyoto, and the rest in Tokyo. Also want to do 1 or 2 days of hot springs.
Any recommendations for hot springs? Ideally, locations that are easy to access with nearby attractions around Osaka/Kobe/Kyoto/Tokyo as we will be traveling elder and small children.
