Need help with my Chubu Itinerary

Hi, I appreciate some help with this itinerary for mid January. If there is anything you recommend changing please let me know. Thanks!

Day 1 - Osaka
Day 2 - Osaka
Day 3 - Matsumoto
Day 4 - Nagano
Day 5 - Nagano
Day 6 - Kanazawa
Day 7 - Shirakawago
Day 8 - Takayama

Two points.
1. How about spending some time in Kyoto? It is a far more interesting city in my opinion as compared to Osaka. Since Kyoto closes about 8pm, you can head to Osaka about 6:30 pm and enjoy the street food and night life along the Domtombori river.

2. You end your trip in a place not near any international airport?
