Kurokawa Onsen to Matsuyama

Hi!
I am thinking of travelling from:
Kagoshima -> Nagasaki -> Fukuoka -> Yufuincho Kawakami -> Kurokawa Onsen -> Matsuyama
How do you recommend I do this? Is this the best order?

Are you planning to take the ferry from Oita to Shikoku? Either way, it looks very time consuming and painful.

Kurokawa Onsen, bus -> Oita, ferry -> Yawatahama, train -> Matsuyama
The trip could easily take all day, you might also want to consider the infrequent of the bus, ferry and train for this trip.
