Hi, I am planning to visit Nagasaki, arriving on 17 or 18 Jan next year. I know that the Nagasaki Lantern Festival 2020 will commence on 25 Jan . I would like to know when the lanterns will start to be put up, before the start of the festival. Am asking as I would like to take photographs of the normal day Nagasaki, without the lanterns even if they are not lit. For example, I would like to take pictures of the Spectacles Bridge without lanterns in the background. Please do not get me wrong. I am a Chinese myself and the above is purely my sole reason for asking the question here.
