Any Info about Kamikochi opens for public?

Does anyone have any info when will KAMIKOCHI will be open for public? is it 17 April or 27 April 2024? and if they open in 27 April can we go there since early morning?

we will be using hokuriku arc pass from kyoto to tokyo and planning to visit at the last day of our HAP before going to tokyo, what city do you recomend the day before we went to kamikochi?

The road opens to buses and taxis on April 17.

Matsumoto is the best city to base yourself for a trip to Kamikochi. However, the Hokuriku Arch Pass does not cover the section between Nagano and Matsumoto.
