Nikko - Golden week 30.4

We are planing one day trip to Nikko during Golden week on 30th of April.
We are wondering if its worth due to crowd? Is it possible to use tobu buses for moving between attractions (kegon, ryuzu falls, temple complex) or are they too crowded?
Is it possible to buy all tickets for attractions in advance? We really like to avoid waiting in the line to buy tickets.
