Sakura Itinerary

This will be my third time to japan, this time focusing on seeing the sakura season. I'm especially looking forward to seeing them illuminated at night. I am planning to see Kyoto, Osaka and Kanazawa

Open questions:

1. Do my dates make sense, or should I change anything?
2. Is taking the Sagano Romantic Train and the Hozugawa River Boat Ride back any more interesting during sakura than in the fall? If so, I would pack it in somewhere.
3. Any more must-dos for sakura? I think I have spare time in each location, so I'm open to suggestions.

* See Expo Park
* Get to Minoo Park (Should I take a cab here?)

* Walk around Umeda/Nambda/Den-den town/Nipponbashi at night

* Find slice of Rikuro�fs (Can I even get a single slice of fresh cake? Or do I have to buy an entire one?
* Kema Sakuranomiya Park
* Osaka Tenmangu
* Osaka castle
* Shitennoji
* Keitakuen Garden
* Sumiyoshi Taisha
* Spend evening in Dotonbori/Shinsaibashi-Suji
* (Should I also see Osaka castle at night?)
* 2nd April (Take a train to kanazawa)
* Omicho market
* Get some Kaiseki (any recommendations?)
* Kazuemachi Chaya District
* See Higashi chaya district (get some tea)
* Kenrokuen garden/Kanazawa Castle (also illuminated at night I believe)
* 3rd April
* See Takayama
* Perhaps see Shirakawa-go (Is it worth it?)
* 4th April
* ??? I think I need recommendations here
