Nohi bus - takayama/kamikochi/shinhotaka

Hi all,

I'm struggling to interpret the bus fares on the Nohi website: https://www.nouhibus.co.jp/hida/ticket/

Whilst in takayama, we would definitely like to do a day trip to kamikochi and, weather dependant, another day trip to shinhotaka.

Which is the best value ticket for this?

I notice there is the Takayama - Hirayu Onsen - Kamikochi transfer round-trip ticket, valid for 7 days. I presume this is one round trip within the 7 days of purchasing?

I also notice there is the Kamikochi/Okuhida Marugoto Value Ticket, this looks like it covers a round trip to kamikochi and a round trip to shinhotaka on consecutive days, although there is a 3 day version which i don't understand.

Which is my best bet here and can i buy in takayama the day before travelling or do i need to buy sooner?
