Hirosaki Castle or Ashino Park

I'm arriving late for cherry blossom in Hirosaki. Should I still go for late bloomers at Hirosaki Castle or should I go to Ashino Park instead?

There is no live camera of Ashino-koen, but it was in full bloom on the 20th, so it must have scattered a lot.

It is Hakodate in Hokkaido where you can see cherry blossoms in the best condition now.

I was at Hirosaki castle park a few days ago (Monday) at the peak and ti is well past that now, but the place does have some late blooming trees so could still be ok this weekend - just not as good as full bloom for the majority of the trees.

Here is the information about late blooming cherry blossoms.
Among the cherry trees, Someiyoshino is out of season.

Even if you miss the cherry blossoms, they both are still good places. Hirosaki Castle was quite enjoyable, and the Fujita Memorial Garden there is one of the best in the region.

Thanks all. Since I'm way too late, I decided to scrap all my Aomori plan and went to Yonai Water Treatment Plant in Morioka instead. It was a bit scattered but I'm satisfied.
