Suggestions on my itinerary

My husband and I will be traveling to Japan for the our first time.I've put together the following itinerary and would appreciate your thoughts. I am a photographer,looking for the most beautiful places in Japan to photograph but I don not want to just see through Japan through the lens. I want to experience the culture while seeing the beauty.

13 arrive Narita @ 4:30pm -Limousine bus to hotel in Shinjuku
14 Tokyo
15 Kamakura
16 Nikko or more Tokyo ( on the fence)
17 Bus to Takayama
18 Takayama
19 bus to Shirakawa-go overnight
20 bus to Kanazawa
21 Kanazawa
22 overnight in temple at Mt Koya (Start JR 7 day pass)
23 Kyoto
24 Kyoto (Arashiyama )
25 Kyoto (Higashiyama Walk)
26 Fushimi Inari Nara
27 Kyoto (Northern Kyoto )
28 Narita depart 7:10pm

It looks perfect to me. But I recommend to make the hotel reservations for Kyoto as soon as possible.

I made our reservations, we will be staying at
Shunkoin Temple in Northern Kyoto.We are hoping to make use of the free bicycle rental.Is it difficult to get around Kyoto on bike? Thanks for the positive feedback.

Unless you visit some remote sites and are not a good cyclist, it is an easy and popular way to get around the city.
